Week of the Engineer
It is already the sixth edition of the Week of the Engineer. ie-net started the initiative in 2017 and wants to make it an annual tradition. They want to put the engineer and the challenges for the future in the spotlight for a week, including a job fair on 24 November in the Ter Elst congress center in Edegem.
The Week of the Engineer always has an overarching theme. In 2020 and 2021, the common thread was 'Engineers during the corona crisis'. This year's theme is SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). And Umicore knows all about that. Between now and 2030, we want to be a fully-fledged transformation partner for our customers, guiding them on their journey towards sustainability and circularity.
