What you will be doing

You will take up a dual role of project manager and scrum master.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management : Lead, prepare, and coordinate projects and strategic studies autonomously, collaborating closely with BIT and corporate Digitalization and IS teams. Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria. Build and lead cross-functional project teams, assigning responsibilities and fostering a collaborative environment
• Lead Agile Practices: Facilitate Scrum events (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) to enhance team collaboration and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Support Product Development: Assist Product Owners with backlog management, task prioritization, and defining clear, actionable user stories.
• Remove Obstacles: Proactively identify and resolve impediments to ensure seamless team workflows and timely project completion.
• Coach and Mentor Teams: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by guiding team members on agile principles and encouraging self-organization.
• Drive Digital Transformation: Promote agile adoption across teams, support digital communication efforts, and contribute to business analysis for new project definitions and roadmap development.

Who we are looking for

• Educational Background: Masters’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, with a solid understanding of digital environments.
• Professional Experience: +5 years of experience as a Scrum Master and PM, preferably within digital or IT-focused projects.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management governance as well as Agile Scrum principles, with experience using agile tools (e.g., DevOps). A Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Communication & Problem-Solving: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English), paired with strong analytical abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues. Knowledge of Korean, Finnish or Polish is considered a strong plus.
• Leadership & Team Skills: Autonomous self-starter, eager to take initiative and focused on good governance put pragmatic to achieve the deliverable. A demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, manage stakeholders and lead effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
