What you will be doing

• Lead and manage digitalization projects within the finance & sales department, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, sales, and Digi & BIT colleagues, to identify and implement digital solutions that enhance business processes and reporting.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive digitalization roadmap for the finance & sales, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and feasibility.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and digital tools, providing training and support to business team members.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digital initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Act as the product owner for the WW POD, leading a small data team in developing data solutions for the finance & sales domain.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital technology, ensuring Umicore remains at the forefront of digital innovation.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in digital transformation or digitalization projects within a finance function.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, systems, and reporting requirements.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in digital tools and technologies, including ERP systems, data analytics, and automation tools.
