About Enterprise Functions

A global organisation. It’s not just those in our industrial sites and technical centres that are vital to Umicore’s growth. Across our enterprise functions we ensure that we continue to grow and evolve – whether it’s by making sure our decisions are commercially viable, enhancing our reputation, building new customer relationships or finding the right people who can build on what we’ve already achieved. The variety of our work means we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new ideas. Which is where you come in.

  • Assist with preparation of compliance reports and stakeholder communications.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal, ESG, Business Units, and Operations.
  • Coordinate internal meetings and track follow-up actions and support the delivery of responsible sourcing training and awareness activities.
  • Support Umicore’s external engagement with supplier and trade associations.
  • Track KPIs and prepare periodic reporting on responsible sourcing activities.
  • Support preparation of presentations, management updates, and sustainability disclosures.
  • Monitor developments in responsible sourcing standards and regulations.
Who we are looking for

You are open to a temporary assignment (6–12 months) and excited by the opportunity to gain experience in a global ESG environment. You also bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, International Relations, Supply Chain, Law, Business, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, responsible sourcing, supply chain due diligence, procurement, compliance, or human rights.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Chinese is an asset.
  • Knowledge of OECD Due Diligence Guidance and responsible sourcing frameworks.
  • Experience with supplier assessments, ESG risk screening, or human rights due diligence.
  • Familiarity with battery materials, metals, minerals, or industrial supply chains.
