If yes, then our Junior Engineering Program at Umicore Precious Metals Refining in Hoboken might be exactly what you are looking for.
The Junior Engineering Program takes a year and a half to complete and starts in mid-September. The program gives you the chance to get to know the Hoboken site better through various projects in different departments. You get the chance to build a valuable network and get to know some of the production departments better. The projects alternate with training weeks where you will learn about giving presentations, time management, Hoboken's flowsheet, and more.
Traineeship in production
With a bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry or process chemistry, you will enter as a Junior Engineer - Production. After one and a half years, you can start working as a technical production or process employee in one of the production departments at Hoboken.
Traineeship in process maintenance
With a bachelor's or master's degree in electromechanics, you can join Umicore as a Junior Engineer - Process Maintenance. Through training and the hands-on work you do with your team, you will refine your practical experience and become a work planner, coach, draughtsman designer.
