Parking and charging stations for electric cars
We are happy to help reduce parking congestion in the Moretusburg neighborhood and promote electric driving. To this end, we make our Parking A and 40 charging stations available to local residents (subject to resident card) — from Monday to Friday between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m., and all day during weekends.
Attention!
- You can only use the charging stations at car park A if you are in possession of a local resident card. Request this by email or the toll-free number 0800-93739 stating your name, address, number plate and telephone number.
- The charging stations work with plug type 2.
- You can activate a charging station with a public charging card. Holders of a MobilityPlus card pay a fixed rate. Holders of other charging cards may pay additional fees and/or a different rate. Check this in advance with the distributor of your charging card.
Parking in function of cleaning the streets, squares and footpaths in Moretusburg
Umicore's sweeper sprayers regularly and thoroughly clean the surrounding streets, including the parking spaces. This means that the parking spaces must be free at certain times. Signage indicates when parking is and is not allowed, so that the road sweepers can easily clean the entire road surface.
Footpaths, squares and playgrounds in the vicinity of the site are also cleaned regularly. Depending on the weather conditions and especially during the school holidays between May and September, squares and playgrounds in the area are cleaned more often.
