This program is specifically designed for masters in an economic, financial or commercial field. You will be offered two projects in different business units or sites, one of which will have an international scope. After a successful completion of your projects we will assess your development and potential together and find you an appropriate managerial role that is in line with your personality and interests.
- Master degree (graduate in 2020) in (applied) economics, commercial engineering/sciences, or other with a keen interest for supply, finance and market developments.
- fluent in English, Dutch and French, knowledge of any other language is a plus

As a YG Junior Manager Energy Procurement at P&T located in Hoboken.
you assist the Procurement Manager Energy in driving added value contribution to our internal clients while respecting policies, strategies and procedures. You will realize innovative projects (like solar panels on Umicore sites, setting up charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, valorising power offtake flexibility,..). You will assist in contract negotiations, monitor and analyse energy spend, challenge and share sourcing trends, best practices and results, and organizes knowledge distribution.
As a YG Junior Manager Sustainability for the Environment Health & Safety department in Brussels
you will assist with the development of sustainability objectives for the Umicore group. Reporting to the Group Director Sustainable Value Chain your research will include metrics for measuring sustainability performance and test proposals with the various business units of Umicore. Your work will touch on the various stages of the value chain including sustainable supply of raw materials, sustainable products and recycling services, and sustainability in our operations.
